Åsa Wahlström

 

Dr. Åsa Wahlström, CIT Energy Management, Chalmers Industriteknik, Sweden

Åsa has over 20 years of experiences as coordinator and project leader of research and applied projects in the field of energy and environmental issues related to building services and the comprehensive building energy system. The work consists of both national development, standardization and implementation projects within construction, real estate and energy sector and of international projects within the EU and the IEA (International Energy Agency). With her ​​experience, she has a broad view of the actors, the research front, standards, regulations and guidelines in new and redevelopment and management of energy efficient buildings locally, nationally and internationally. Åsa is since 2010 guest researcher at the department of Building Services at Lund University. She is one of the major contributors to the Handbook "Energy audits of buildings, apartment buildings and premises," which is published by the SIS publishers and has used extensively in the training of energy experts for energy declarations of buildings.
