Leo de Ruijsscher

 

Leo de Ruijsscher is managing director of De Blaay-Van den Bogaard Consulting Engineers, Rotterdam, Netherlands.

De Blaay-Van den Bogaard Consulting Engineers is an independent international consulting company that employs about 30 qualified people. Its designers, consulting engineers and supervisors render all kind of building services (mechanical, electrical and sanitary installations). Furthermore Leo is a lecturer at the Technical University of Delft (TU Delft) in the chair of Climate design & Sustainability and also participates in various missions for governmental organizations as well as private enterprises. As a strong supporter of integrated design, his metaphor is to create an indoor climate with a high comfort, an optimal quality of perception by its consumers and low energy-consumption. His passion is to present and exchange his knowledge with auditors and students during presentations and lecturers in which he aims to convince all parties involved that the way integrated design can be accomplished, is being respectful to each other’s work and the willingness to co-operate.
