Mari-Liis Maripuu

 

Mari-Liis Maripuu, Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia and Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden

Mari-Liis is a specialist in a number of areas at CIT Energy Management AB, including the development of energy management systems, assessment of energy efficiency measures in buildings and evaluation of functional requirements for indoor climate. Mari-Liss’ main focus is on energy-efficient ventilation solutions for commercial buildings. During her six years of research work at Chalmers University of Technology, she worked on demand-controlled ventilation systems. This work culminated in a doctoral dissertation in 2009 entitled Demand Controlled Ventilation (DCV) Systems in Commercial Buildings. Functional Requirements on Systems and Components. The purpose of this study was to clarify the requirements for a well-functioning DCV system and its components and to evaluate to what extent these requirements were being fulfilled.
