400-500 lung cancer cases per year in Sweden are caused by radon indoors!

  • 90% of them are smokers
  • If you could reduce radon levels in all homes that have more than 200 Bq/m3, in the longer term 200 lung cancer cases could be avoided each year.

This is almost equivalent to saving 200 lives since the vast majority who are diagnosed with lung cancer die of the disease.
