Interesting presentation about ventilation in cold climate!

The presentation “Saving Energy, Staying Healthy: Ventilation in Cold Climates” by Martin Kotol is all about Indoor Air Quality and Health, IAQ in Cold Climates, Ventilation systems, IAQ renovation in Greenland and HRV tour & questions in cold climates of Alaska and Greenland.

This presentation a comprehensive overview of indoor air quality, ventilation practices in Arctic climates, and current research aimed at improving ventilation. Ventilation expert Martin Kotol presents about the relationship between indoor air quality and health, and the advantages and disadvantages of various types of ventilation. He discusses the energy savings and paybacks of using a heat recovery ventilator (HRV) as well as how HRVs are employed in other Arctic nations.

Martin Kotol performs indoor environment and ventilation research at the Centrum for Arctic Technology (ARTEK) at the Technical University of Denmark. He earned his PhD studying the indoor environment and energy use in Arctic homes, conducting experimental work in Greenland and at CCHRC as a visiting researcher.
