History of ventilation: Electric air conditioning system in 1902!

A printing company in New York got an electric air conditioning system that could cool, heat and humidify the incoming air, which was a prerequisite for being able to print in full color. In the beginning, the air was cooled by water loops with common ground, but the following year a chiller was installed to cool the water. Refrigeration was not entirely new, but the plant at the printing company was the first that could be regulated reliably.
