Energy monitoring: Typical costs!

The cost of energy monitoring highly depend on monitoring strategy and how the monitoring information will be used. Here are some examples:

  1. Installing energy counters data acquisition software – for consumption registration – 0%
  2. Strategy 1, plus allocation of energy costs per department/sector – for monthly reports for each department/sector – 2% – 5%
  3. Strategy 2, plus analysis and fine tuning of system cooperation – for strategy 2, plus revision and fine tuning of schedules, setpoints, operating criteria, etc. – 5% – 15%
  4. Strategy 3, plus continuous monitoring and commissioning – for strategy3, plus continuous fine tuning and systems commissioning – 15% – 45%
