Ventilation in hospitals! General design information for operating suites!

 Regardless of the selected air flow principle, the following data must be available for use based on the objectives set by users (User Requirement Specification (URS)):
  • The required cutting a purity level: clean air / ultra clean air
  • Operating room size, surface area and height of the room
  • Medical equipment, such as lighting, the use of technology centers and the beams location
  • Cooling load caused by medical devices
  • Sources of air pollution, such as anaestesia and diathermia equipment
  • The number and location of operating room personnel section (incl. activities and role)
  • Wear surgical clothing
  • Airflow principle of choice, affect the technical solution and carried out functional tests
  • The ventilation function is also dependent on the other, for example. building the technical boundary conditions on density, such as spaces, which must be set requirements
