Health and comfort are important for people in buildings, and relative humidity (RH) is one of many aspects of indoor environmental quality (IEQ). Therefore, maintaining relative humidity between 40-50% is critical for well-being, especially our body and respiratory system.

I am very honoured to be part of the group of experts that have shared their knowledge about relative humidity – in context to dry cold climate, myths in relative humidity and the impact on indoor air and means of control.
Over 14 articles and case studies about relative humidity from almost 30 excellent authors were published at the REHVA Journal 6, December 2021.
