Gert Svensson
Deputy Director of the PDC Center for High Performance Computing.
Gert Svensson has been a pioneer in many computer areas. He was an early advocate of Unix and open source software and he put Stockholm’s Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) on the Internet before most people had even heard the word. In 1990 he was one of the people who established the supercomputer centre PDC and he has been working in different positions at PDC ever since, most recently as the project leader in several heat recovery projects.
