Piotr Bartkiewicz

Assistant Professor in the Department of Ventilation and Air Conditioning in the Faculty of Environmental Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology

For several years, Piotr is dealing with issues of modern methods of simulation and modeling energy consumption in the building. He is author of several implementations of projects green and sustainable building, energy optimization projects, implementation process commissioning, LEED, BREEAM, Green Building in commercial buildings. Member of many international associations and representative of Polish international forum, industry scientists and engineers for ventilation, air conditioning, heating and cooling. President of the Section Chief of Heating, Heating and Ventilation PZITS. Polish representative in the Federation of European Heating and Air-Conditioning Associations. Member of ASHRAE. Member of the International Building Performance Simulation Association. Head of EU projects related to sustainable construction – Intelligent Energy Europe – EU “Promotion / Dissemination Projects: SAVE, ALTENER, STEER and INTEGRATED INITIATIVES “- IDES EDU. Member of Project STEP – “Retrofitting public buildings in accordance with the principles of sustainable development”.

Participant in a number of research projects, engineering and commercial implementing modern methods and techniques in practice.
