Life cycle assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) contribute to an increasing accuracy and transparency of environmental impacts of products and the building industry as a whole. These insights enable people and companies like end customer, property owners, architects and/or the consultant to calculate CO2 footprints more reliably.

From building lifecycle analysis to environmental product declarations

Life cycle assessment (LCA) is the most widely used and highly regarded tool for quantifying the environmental impacts of products and services, i.e. the calculation of embodied carbon (materials) and operational carbon (energy).

The EPD provides information about products from the cradle to the grave, i.e. it provides scientifically-based, quantitative data from lifecycle assessments, detailing all the relevant construction product's environmental effects.

Balance quality, cost and the environment

The customer can make a more informed decision when choosing environmentally friendly building products — i.e. becoming easier to balance quality, cost and the environment. Now, there is a fast growing focus on installations in a building (HVAC, lighting solution, etc.).

This webinar is for you property owners and architects and for you who works as a consultant and need to calculate the carbon footprint.
