History of ventilation: Measures to reduce the risk of infection in hospitals!

One of the first hospitals that took to the latest findings about air purity and air-borne diseases were the Navy Hospital in Plymoth, England. Departments were isolated from each other by separating walls and departments had opening windows on both facades to allow for continuous cross-drafts, which brought fresh air and carried off the air.
