Carsten Rode, Professor, Ph.D. (1990), Head of Section for Building Physics and Services, DTU Civil Engineering, Technical University of Denmark
Carsten is an expert in building physics and has a background in modeling the combined moisture, air and heat flows in building structures and entire buildings.
Carsten committed to develop the basis for and publicize how we manage to both new and renovated existing buildings more energy efficient in a good way, so there are no flaws with moisture, mold and limited durability. In this work assessed buildings in their entirety, as interactions with outdoor and indoor environment, users and installations considered. Carsten is chairman of the IDA’s Society for Building Physics and president of the International Association of Building Physics.
